Welcome to Konnectify! This guide will help you understand what Konnectors are, how to use them, and how to create and edit them to automate your workflows efficiently.

What are Konnectors?

Konnectors are the building blocks of automation on the Konnectify platform. They allow you to connect various apps and automate workflows without writing any code. Each Konnector consists of a trigger (an event that starts the workflow) and one or more actions (tasks performed when the trigger occurs).

Using Konnectors

  1. Dashboard Overview:

  • Log in to your Konnectify account.

  • Navigate to the Dashboard where you can see an overview of your existing Konnectors, their statuses, and recent activity.


Creating a Konnector

  1. Starting a New Konnector:

  • From the Dashboard, click on “Create New Konnector”.

  • Enter a name and description for your Konnector for easy identification.


  1. Setting Up the Trigger:

  • Choose an app from which the trigger will originate.

  • Select the specific trigger event (e.g., a new email, form submission, etc.).

  • Configure any necessary settings for the trigger (e.g., filters or conditions).


  1. Adding Actions:

  • After setting up the trigger, click on “Add Action”.

  • Select the app where the action will occur.

  • Choose the specific action to be performed (e.g., send an email, update a CRM record).

  • Configure the action with required details and parameters.


  1. Activating your Konnector:

  • Once you define your parameters, you can activate your Konnector by clicking the ‘Publish’ button on the top right corner.


Editing a Konnector

  1. Accessing Existing Konnectors:

  • From the Dashboard, locate the Konnector you want to edit.

  • Click on the Konnector to open its configuration page.

  1. Making Changes:

  • Modify the trigger or actions as needed.

  • Update any configurations or parameters.

  • Save the changes and test the Konnector to ensure it still functions correctly.

  1. Reactivating your Konnector:

  • After making changes and testing, reactivate the Konnector by clicking “Activate Now” to implement the changes you’ve made.

Tips for Using Konnectors Effectively

  • Use Filters: Apply filters to triggers to ensure actions only occur under specific conditions.

  • Utilize Multi-step Workflows: Combine multiple actions in a single Konnector to create comprehensive workflows.

  • Monitor Performance: Regularly check the Dashboard for the performance and status of your Konnectors.

  • Leverage Smart Forms: Use Smart Forms for data collection and trigger workflows based on form submissions.
