Lemlist API Documentation

Konnectify uses the Lemlist API to securely interact with your Lemlist account. The API allows external platforms to create, update, retrieve, and manage leads, campaigns, unsubscribe lists, and engagement data programmatically.

Authentication

Lemlist supports API authentication using API Key (recommended). You can generate your API key from your Lemlist account settings and use it while creating the connection in Konnectify.

  • Email addresses must be valid and properly formatted

How to Connect Lemlist to Konnectify

This section explains how to connect your Lemlist account to Konnectify so you can use Lemlist as a trigger or action in your workflows.

Prerequisites

Before creating the workflow, ensure you have:

  • A valid Lemlist account
  • A Lemlist API Key
  • Access to the Konnectify platform
  • Required permissions to manage campaigns and leads in Lemlist
  • Permission to create/manage connections in Konnectify

Step 1: Connect Lemlist in Konnectify

  1. Log in to Konnectify
  2. Click New on the top-right corner and select Connections
  3. Select Lemlist
  4. In the Create Connection window:
    • Connection Name – This name is for reference only and helps distinguish between multiple Lemlist connections within Konnectify.
      Example: My Lemlist Connection
    • API Key – Paste your Lemlist API Key. You can generate it from your Lemlist account settings.
  5. Click Create Connection

Step 2: Create a New Konnector

  1. Click New on the top-right corner and select Konnectors
  2. Choose a trigger app (for example: Webhook, CRM, Forms, or Lemlist)
  3. Select the required trigger event (for example: New Lemlist Event or Schedule Event)
  4. Choose the Lemlist connection you created and click Continue

Step 3: Add and Configure Lemlist Action

  1. Click Action
  2. Select Lemlist
  3. Choose an action (for example: Add Lead To Campaign)
  4. Select the Connection and click Continue
  5. Fill all mandatory fields such as:
    • Campaign ID
    • Lead Email
    • First Name / Last Name (if required)
    • Additional lead details
Note: All required fields must be filled with valid values. If any mandatory field is left empty or contains invalid data, the action may fail during execution.

Step 4: Value Mapping and Workflow Testing

  • Map dynamic fields from the trigger/action output
  • Use static values only when required
  • Run the workflow using sample data
  • Verify the execution status and response from Lemlist

Step 5: Activate Konnector

Once testing is successful:

  • Save the Konnector
  • Turn the workflow ON
  • Perform a real-time test from the trigger source
  • Confirm that the data is reflected in Lemlist

Lead Actions
Add Lead To Campaign

Creates a new lead if it does not exist and immediately adds it to the selected Lemlist campaign.

Add Recipient To Unsubscribe List

Adds the provided email address or domain to the unsubscribe list.

Enrich Lead

Fetches additional information such as LinkedIn and company details for a lead using their email.

Mark A Lead As Interested

Marks a lead as interested, indicating they are engaged and should be prioritized for follow-ups.

Mark A Lead As Not Interested

Marks a lead as not interested, indicating they are no longer engaged and should be removed from active campaigns.

Mark A Lead As Interested In Campaign

Marks a lead as interested in the specified campaign.

Pause Lead From Campaign

Pauses a lead from the specified campaign or from all campaigns.

Resumes a paused lead in the specified campaign or in all campaigns.

Unsubscribes a lead from the specified campaign.

Remove Lead From Campaign

Removes a lead from the specified campaign.

Remove Email From Unsubscribe List

Removes a lead from the unsubscribe list so they can receive future emails.

Update Lead From Campaign

Updates an existing lead's details in a specific campaign.

Search Lead

Finds a lead by email address or lead ID and retrieves its details.

Create Campaign

Creates a campaign with a name and optional team or folder settings.

Get Campaign

Fetches campaign details using the campaign ID.

Update Campaign

Modifies campaign settings including behavior, tracking, and stop conditions.
