Konnectify uses the Rocketlane API to securely interact with your Rocketlane account. The API allows external platforms to create, read, update, and manage projects, tasks, users, phases, spaces, documents, and time entries programmatically.

Rocketlane supports API-based authentication using secure API keys or tokens generated from your Rocketlane account settings. You will need the appropriate API credentials while creating the connection in Konnectify.

This section explains how to connect your Rocketlane account to Konnectify so you can use Rocketlane as a trigger or action in your workflows.
Before creating the workflow, ensure you have:
- A valid Rocketlane account
- Rocketlane API credentials
- Access to the Konnectify platform
- Required admin or API permissions in Rocketlane
- Permission to create/manage connections in Konnectify
Step 1: Connect Rocketlane in Konnectify
- Log in to Konnectify
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Connections
- Select Rocketlane
- Enter:
- Connection Name
- API Key / Access Token
- Click Create Connection
Step 2: Create a New Konnector
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Konnectors
- Choose a trigger app (for example: Rocketlane or any other app)
- Select the required trigger event (for example: New Project Created, Task Created, Time Entry Created, etc.)
- Choose the Rocketlane connection you created and click Continue
Step 3: Add and Configure Rocketlane Action
- Click Action
- Select Rocketlane
- Choose an action (for example: Create Project, Create Task, Create Time Entry)
- Select the Connection and click Continue
- Fill all mandatory fields
Step 4: Value Mapping and Workflow Testing
- Map dynamic fields from the trigger output
- Use static values only when required
- Run the workflow using sample data
- Verify the execution status and response from Rocketlane
Step 5: Activate Konnector
- Save the Konnector
- Turn the workflow ON
- Perform a real-time test from the trigger source
- Confirm that the data is reflected in Rocketlane

Creates a new project in Rocketlane.
Archives a specific project in Rocketlane. The project is removed from active lists but retains its data.
Updates the details of an existing project in Rocketlane.
Imports a specific template into an existing project in Rocketlane.
Fetches a single project from Rocketlane using its ID.
Permanently deletes a project from Rocketlane using its ID.
Task Actions
Creates a new task in a project.
Updates the details of an existing task in Rocketlane.
