This section explains how to connect your QuickBooks Online account to Konnectify so you can use it as a trigger or action in your workflows.
Before creating the workflow, ensure you have:
- A valid QuickBooks Online account
- Admin access to your QuickBooks Online company
- Permission to authorize third-party applications
- Access to the Konnectify platform
- Permission to create and manage connections in Konnectify
Step 1: Connect QuickBooks Online in Konnectify
- Log in to Konnectify
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Connections
- Select QuickBooks Online
- Enter:
- Connection Name
Enter a name for your reference (e.g., my quickbooks connection). This helps distinguish between multiple QuickBooks connections inside Konnectify.
- Connection Name
- Click Continue
- Authorize Konnectify using OAuth by logging into your QuickBooks Online account
- Select the appropriate Company and grant required permissions
- Click Connect
Step 2: Create a New Konnecter
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Konnectors
- Choose a trigger app (for example: CRM, Webhook, Forms, or QuickBooks Online)
- Select the required trigger event (for example: New Invoice, Updated Customer, New Payment, etc.)
- Choose the QuickBooks Online connection you created and click Continue
Step 3: Add and Configure QuickBooks Online Action
- Click Action
- Select QuickBooks Online
- Choose an action (for example: Create Invoice)
- Select the Connection and click Continue
- Fill all mandatory fields such as:
- Customer Reference
- Line Items
- Amount
- Account
- Transaction Date
- Payment Method
- Vendor or Customer ID (depending on action)
Step 4: Value Mapping and Workflow Testing
- Map dynamic fields from the trigger output
- Use static values only when required
- Run the workflow using sample data
- Verify execution status and response from QuickBooks Online
Step 5: Activate Konnector
- Save the Konnector
- Turn the workflow ON
- Perform a real-time test from the trigger source
- Confirm that the data is reflected in QuickBooks Online
