This section explains how to connect your Gmail account to Konnectify so you can use Gmail as a trigger or action in your workflows.
Before creating the workflow, ensure you have:
- A valid Gmail account
- Access to the Konnectify platform
- Permission to create/manage connections in Konnectify
Step 1: Connect Gmail in Konnectify
- Log in to Konnectify
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Connections
- Select Gmail
- Click Connect
- Sign in to your Google account
- Grant the required permissions
- Click Create Connection
Step 2: Create a New Konnecter
- Click New on the top-right corner and select Konnectors
- Choose a trigger app (for example: Gmail, Webhook, Google Forms, etc.)
- Select the required trigger event (for example: New Email)
- Choose the Gmail connection you created and click Continue
Step 3: Add and Configure Gmail Action
- Click Action
- Select Gmail
- Choose an action (for example: Send Email)
- Select the Connection and click Continue
- Fill all mandatory fields such as:
- To
- Subject
- Body
- CC or BCC (if required)
Step 4: Value Mapping and Workflow Testing
- Map dynamic fields from the trigger output
- Use static values only when required
- Run the workflow using sample data
- Verify the execution status and response from Gmail
Step 5: Activate Konnector
- Save the Konnector
- Turn the workflow ON
- Perform a real-time test from the trigger source
- Confirm that the email is sent or received as expected
