How to Connect WhatsApp Business Cloud to Konnectify

This section explains how to connect your WhatsApp Business Cloud account to Konnectify so you can use it as a trigger or action in your workflows.

Prerequisites

Before creating the workflow, ensure you have:

  • A verified WhatsApp Business Account
  • Access to Meta Business Manager
  • A Permanent or System User Access Token
  • Configured Phone Number ID
  • Webhook subscription access
  • Access to the Konnectify platform
  • Permission to create/manage connections in Konnectify

Step 1: Connect WhatsApp Business Cloud in Konnectify

  1. Log in to Konnectify
  2. Click New on the top-right corner and select Connections
  3. Select WhatsApp Business Cloud
  4. Enter:
    • Connection Name (e.g., my whatsapp cloud connection – This name is for reference only and helps distinguish between multiple WhatsApp connections within Konnectify)
    • Access Token
    • Phone Number ID
    • Business Account ID
    • Webhook Verification Token
  5. Click Create Connection

Step 2: Create a New Konnecter

  1. Click New on the top-right corner and select Konnectors
  2. Choose a trigger app (for example: WhatsApp Business Cloud, Webhook, CRM, E-commerce platform, etc.)
  3. Select the required trigger event (for example: New Message)
  4. Choose the WhatsApp Business Cloud connection you created and click Continue

Step 3: Add and Configure WhatsApp Business Cloud Action

  1. Click Action
  2. Select WhatsApp Business Cloud
  3. Choose an action (for example: Send A Template or Send A Message)
  4. Select the Connection and click Continue
  5. Fill all mandatory fields such as:
    • Recipient Phone Number
    • Template Name (for template messages)
    • Message Body
    • Language Code
    • Dynamic Parameters (if applicable)
Note: All required fields must be filled with valid values. If any mandatory field is left empty or contains invalid data, the action may fail during execution.

Step 4: Value Mapping and Workflow Testing

  • Map dynamic fields from the trigger output
  • Use static values only when required
  • Run the workflow using sample data
  • Verify the execution status and API response

Step 5: Activate Konnector

  1. Save the Konnector
  2. Turn the workflow ON
  3. Perform a real-time test (for example, send a message to your WhatsApp number)
  4. Confirm that the message is delivered successfully
