API & Authentication
Authentication method: OAuth 2.0 authorization
Apollo.io connects to Konnectify using OAuth 2.0. During setup, you are redirected to Apollo to approve access, and Konnectify receives secure authorization tokens for the approved connection. Konnectify does not store your Apollo password.
This connector requires an Apollo OAuth application Client ID and Client Secret, then uses Apollo’s authorization and token endpoints to complete the connection.
Based on the available triggers and actions, this integration can work with the following Apollo API capabilities:
- Contacts and people search, creation, updates, ownership, stages, and enrichment
- Accounts and organizations search, creation, updates, ownership, enrichment, job postings, and organization details
- Deals and opportunities creation, updates, and lookup
- Tasks, notes, outreach emails, news articles, and sequence management
- Bulk-style operational updates for contact stages, owners, account owners, and sequence enrollment/status controls

How to Connect Apollo.io to Konnectify
Prerequisites
- An active Apollo.io account with access to the required API features
- An Apollo OAuth Client ID and Client Secret
- A Konnectify account with permission to create or edit workflows
- Access to the source and destination apps you want to connect with Apollo.io
Add Apollo.io to a Workflow
- In Konnectify, open an existing workflow or create a new one.
- Search for Apollo.io in the app selector.
- Choose Apollo.io as the trigger app or as an action step.
Authorize via OAuth 2.0
- Enter the Apollo OAuth Client ID and Client Secret when prompted.
- Click Connect to open the Apollo authorization screen.
- Review the permissions and approve access for Konnectify.
Configure the Trigger or Action
- Select the Apollo trigger or action you want to use.
- Map required fields such as contact IDs, emails, account domains, organization IDs, deal IDs, sequence IDs, owners, statuses, or search filters.
- Use data from previous workflow steps to dynamically populate Apollo fields.
Test the Workflow
- Run a test to fetch sample trigger data or execute the configured action.
- Review the returned Apollo fields and confirm that the mapping is correct.
- Adjust filters or field mappings if required.
Activate the Workflow
- Turn on the workflow after testing succeeds.
- Monitor the first few runs to verify records are created, updated, enriched, or searched as expected.
