API & Authentication
OAuth 2.0 authorization
ClickUp connects to Konnectify using OAuth 2.0. When you add a ClickUp step, Konnectify redirects you to ClickUp to approve access, then securely stores the resulting authorization token for workflow execution. Your ClickUp password is never stored in Konnectify.
The integration uses ClickUp API capabilities for tasks, comments, custom fields, folders, goals, guests, lists, members, spaces, tags, templates, workspaces, time tracking, users, views, Chat, Docs, pages, and webhook-based events.

How to connect ClickUp to Konnectify
- A ClickUp account with access to the Workspace, Space, Folder, List, task, Chat, or Doc you want to automate.
- Permission to authorize ClickUp apps and manage webhooks where applicable.
- A Konnectify account with access to create or edit workflows.
Add ClickUp to a Workflow
- Open Konnectify and create a new workflow.
- Search for ClickUp and select it as your trigger or action app.
Authorize via OAuth 2.0
- Click Connect account.
- Sign in to ClickUp and approve the requested access.
- Return to Konnectify after authorization completes.
Configure the Trigger or Action
- Select the ClickUp Workspace, Space, Folder, List, task, channel, Doc, or other object required by the step.
- Map fields from previous workflow steps into ClickUp fields.
Test the Workflow
- Run a test to confirm ClickUp data is received or created correctly.
- Review field mappings, IDs, timestamps, and permissions.
Activate the Workflow
- Turn on the workflow when your test succeeds.
- Monitor execution history for ClickUp API errors, rate limits, or missing permissions.
