Tavily
What is Tavily?
Tavily is a search and web intelligence API platform built for AI applications, agents, and automation systems. It helps teams search the web, extract structured page content, crawl websites, map URLs, run research tasks, and analyze usage through API-driven workflows.
By integrating Tavily with Konnectify, you can make real-time web data available to CRMs, databases, spreadsheets, AI assistants, ticketing tools, and internal reporting systems without writing custom integration code.

API & Authentication
Authentication method: API Key authentication
Tavily connects to Konnectify using an API key. When creating the connection, paste your Tavily API key into the API Key field. Konnectify securely stores the credential and uses it to authenticate requests to Tavily actions in your workflows.
You can typically find or generate your API key from your Tavily dashboard or account settings.
Available API capabilities
- Search the web using the Tavily Search API.
- Extract page content from one or more URLs using the Tavily Extract API.
- Crawl a website with domain and path filtering options.
- Map links from a website using crawl depth and breadth limits.
- Create research tasks and retrieve their status and output later.
- Fetch organization usage analytics using date, project, and depth filters.
Some Tavily endpoints, research capabilities, crawl depth options, or usage analytics may depend on your Tavily plan and account limits. If a workflow receives a rate-limit or authorization error, review your Tavily quota, endpoint permissions, and billing plan before retrying.
For endpoint-level details, payload formats, and current limits, see the official Tavily API documentation.
How to connect Tavily to Konnectify
- An active Tavily account with API access.
- A Tavily API key.
- A Konnectify account with permission to create or edit workflows.
- Any downstream app connections you want to use with Tavily results.
Add Tavily to a Workflow
- Open Konnectify and create a new workflow or edit an existing workflow.
- Add a Tavily action where you need web data, extracted content, crawl results, or research output.
Authorize via API Key authentication
- Choose Add new connection when prompted.
- Paste your Tavily API key into the API Key field.
- Save the connection so it can be reused in workflows.
Configure the Trigger or Action
- Select the Tavily action you want to use, such as search, extract, crawl, map, or research task status.
- Map workflow data into the required fields, such as query text, URLs, task identifiers, date filters, or crawl parameters.
Tip: For crawl, map, and research workflows, start with conservative depth, breadth, and result limits during testing to avoid unnecessary usage consumption.
Test the Workflow
- Run a test using representative search queries, URLs, or research task inputs.
- Review the Tavily response and confirm that downstream steps receive the expected fields.
Activate the Workflow
- Turn on the workflow when testing is complete.
- Monitor workflow history for API errors, quota issues, and downstream mapping results.
Triggers 0
This Tavily connector currently does not include native Tavily triggers. Use Tavily actions after another Konnectify trigger, such as a schedule, webhook, form submission, database update, CRM event, or app-specific trigger from another connected service.
Actions 7
Use these 7 Tavily actions to search, extract, crawl, map, create research tasks, check research status, and retrieve organization usage analytics from within Konnectify workflows.
Popular automations
Because Tavily is action-only in Konnectify, pair these actions with schedules, webhooks, forms, CRM events, database updates, or triggers from other apps.
Research leads from form submissions
When a lead submits a form, search the web for company context and enrich your CRM or sales workspace with relevant results.
Extract article content for AI summaries
When a URL is added to a sheet or database, extract the page content and send it to an AI, documentation, or knowledge management workflow.
Monitor competitor site structure
Run scheduled mapping or crawling workflows to collect key website links, content, and structural changes for competitive intelligence.
Run asynchronous research and notify teams
Create a research task from a request, check its status later, and send completed research output to Slack, email, or a project workspace.
