MCP Konnect Hub

Connect Konnectify with external Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, making their tools available for AI Agents and automations.

Connect external MCP servers Four auth methods Auto tool discovery

Overview

Each MCP Konnect represents a connection to a single MCP server. After connecting, Konnectify automatically discovers the tools exposed by the server, allowing you to choose which tools can be used by your AI Agents.

This gives you a controlled bridge between any external MCP-compatible server and the agents you build inside Konnectify.

Supported authentication

No Authentication
API Key (Bearer Token)
OAuth 2.0
Dynamic OAuth

Prerequisites

Before creating an MCP Konnect, make sure you have the following.

Required

MCP Server URL

The SSE or HTTP endpoint of the server you want to connect

If applicable

Auth credentials

Required tokens, client ID/secret, or registration details

Required

Server access

Permission to access the MCP server you're connecting to

Access MCP Konnect Hub

Navigate to the Hub to view existing connections or create a new one.

1
From the Konnectify Home page, navigate to MCP from the left navigation menu
2
Click MCP Konnect Hub
3
View all existing connections — including status, authentication method, server URL, and last used time
4
Click New MCP Konnect

Create a new MCP Konnect

Creating a connection consists of four steps.

1
Server details Step 1

Enter the connection information for the server you're connecting to.

Field
Description
Connection Name
A friendly name used to identify the connection throughout Konnectify
Server URL
The SSE or HTTP endpoint of the MCP server
Description
Optional — a short description of the connection

Click Continue to proceed.

2
Authentication Step 2

Choose the authentication method required by your MCP server.

No Authentication

Select None if your MCP server does not require authentication, then click Connect.

API Key (Bearer Token)

Select API Key, enter the Bearer Token provided by your MCP server, then click Connect.

OAuth 2.0

Select OAuth 2.0 and provide:

Client ID Client Secret Authorization URL Token URL Scopes

Copy the generated Callback URL and whitelist it as the redirect URI in your OAuth provider. Click Connect to authorize.

Dynamic OAuth

Auto-discovery

Select Dynamic OAuth and provide:

Registration URL (optional) Scopes

Copy the generated Callback URL and configure it in your OAuth provider, then click Connect. Dynamic OAuth automatically discovers and registers with compatible MCP servers.

3
Tools & access Step 3

Once authentication is successful, Konnectify discovers all tools available on the connected MCP server.

Every discovered tool is enabled by default
Each tool displays its name and description
Use the toggle beside each tool to enable or disable it

Only enabled tools will be available for AI Agents and automations.

Click Continue after reviewing the available tools.

4
Review Final step

Review your connection details before completing the setup. The Review page displays:

Connection Name Server URL Authentication Method Connection Status

If everything looks correct, click Done. You'll be redirected back to the MCP Konnect Hub page.

Manage an existing MCP Konnect

Open any MCP Konnect from the Hub to manage its settings across three tabs.

Use MCP Konnect Hub in AI Agents

After creating an MCP Konnect, you can use it inside your AI Agents in six steps.

1

Open an AI Agent

2

Under Configured Tools, click Add Konnect Hub

3

The MCP Konnect Hub window opens and displays all available MCP connections

4

Select an existing MCP Konnect or click New MCP Konnect to create one directly from the AI Agent

5

After selecting a connection, choose one of the following options:

Select Tools

Choose specific enabled tools from the connection

Use All Tools

Add every enabled tool from the selected MCP Konnect

6

Save the AI Agent — the selected MCP tools are now available for the agent to execute during runtime

Best practices

Use meaningful connection names so they're easy to identify across your workspace

Enable only the tools required by your AI Agents — avoid unnecessary tool surface area

Refresh tools whenever changes are made to the connected MCP server

Check the Connected Agents tab before modifying or deleting a connection already in use by one or more AI Agents
