API & Authentication

Authentication method: API Key authentication

The Attention connector uses an API key credential. In Konnectify, enter your Attention API key in the API Key field. API keys are treated as sensitive credentials and are used only to authorize requests to Attention.

The expected key format is similar to attn_....

Supported API capabilities

  • Conversation listing, retrieval, updates, archiving, privacy changes, labels, titles, opportunities, and external ID lookups
  • Conversation search by title, owner email, participant email, opportunity ID, team ID, and external ID
  • Media download URL generation and signed upload URL generation
  • Scorecard templates, scorecard items, scorecard results, and scorecard summaries
  • User calendar events with linked conversations and bot-join status
  • Knowledge base source creation, update, upload confirmation, indexing, retrieval, and deletion
Plan and rate-limit note:

Some Attention API endpoints may depend on your Attention plan, workspace permissions, enabled modules, or API rate limits. If a workflow receives permission or throttling errors, verify the API key scope and retry after the recommended interval.

For endpoint-level details, refer to the official Attention API documentation: Attention API docs.

FAQ

How does Attention authentication work in Konnectify?
Attention uses API Key authentication. Add your Attention API key to the connection screen in Konnectify, then save the connection for use in triggers and actions.
 Which Attention plans are supported?
Any Attention plan with API access and permissions for the required resources can be connected. Some endpoints, such as knowledge base sources, scorecards, or media URLs, may require specific Attention features to be enabled in your workspace.
 How do Attention triggers work?
All available Attention triggers in this connector are polling triggers. Konnectify periodically checks Attention for new conversations, scorecards, or calendar events and uses cursor tracking to avoid reprocessing older records.
How can I prevent duplicate conversation updates?
This connector does not include a dedicated upsert action. To reduce duplicates, use Attention conversation IDs or external IDs wherever possible, and use search actions such as “Search Conversation By External ID” before creating downstream records in another app.
How does Konnectify handle Attention rate limits?
If Attention returns a throttling response, Konnectify records the error in workflow history and may retry according to platform retry behavior. For high-volume automations, use filters, date ranges, and pagination carefully to reduce unnecessary API calls.
Can I connect multiple Attention accounts?
Yes. Create separate Attention connections in Konnectify for each workspace or API key, then select the appropriate connection in each workflow step.
What should I know about Attention media and knowledge base uploads?
Generated media download URLs and signed upload URLs are typically short-lived. For KB source uploads, upload the file to the presigned URL first, then run “Confirm KB Source Upload” so Attention can finalize and index the source.
