API & Authentication

Secure Authentication Method

ClickPost uses a secure credential-based authentication method. To link your account, you will need your ClickPost Username and ClickPost API Key. These credentials authorize Konnectify to securely interact with ClickPost's Recommendation, Serviceability, and Order APIs on your behalf. All credentials are fully encrypted in transit and at rest.

Environment & Rate Limits Warning

Ensure you use the correct API key matching your environment (Sandbox or Production). ClickPost strictly monitors API usage; consult your ClickPost enterprise agreement or check with their support team regarding rate limits allocated to your API key.

For detailed API references and integration capabilities, consult the official ClickPost API Documentation.

How to Connect

Prerequisites for Connection:
  • An active ClickPost Enterprise account.
  • Your ClickPost API Username and API Key (available in your ClickPost profile or via your ClickPost account manager).
1

Add ClickPost to a Workflow

Log in to your Konnectify dashboard, navigate to Workflows, and click Create Workflow. Search for and select ClickPost Beta as an action step in your workflow.

2

Authorize via Credentials

Click Connect Account. In the authorization window, enter your ClickPost Username and API Key. Click Verify & Save to establish the connection.

3

Configure the Action

Choose the desired Action (e.g., Create Order: Global) and map the required fields like pickup pincodes, delivery address, carrier partner codes, and shipment weight.

Configuration Tip

Ensure that your API Key and Username exactly match what is provided in your ClickPost enterprise portal. A mismatch will prevent Konnectify from communicating with your shipping carriers.

4

Test the Workflow

Click Test Step to send a test request to ClickPost. Verify that the test order or serviceability lookup returns successful data in the response panel.

5

Activate the Workflow

Once your test succeeds, toggle the workflow status to Active. Your shipping automation is now live!

Triggers 0

No Triggers Available

ClickPost Beta currently does not support native triggers on Konnectify. This means ClickPost cannot directly initiate a workflow when an event happens inside its system.

How to automate: You can use other triggers—such as a new order in Shopify, an updated row in Google Sheets, or a scheduled time window—to start your workflow, and then use ClickPost's extensive actions to run logistics queries, create shipments, or fetch tracking details.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I find my ClickPost Username and API Key?
Your ClickPost credentials are provided when your enterprise profile is provisioned. You can locate these in your ClickPost dashboard settings or by contacting your assigned ClickPost account manager.
Which ClickPost plans support this integration?
This integration requires API access, which is generally available on ClickPost's enterprise plans. Please confirm with your ClickPost representative that API access is enabled for your specific account.
Why are there no triggers for ClickPost? How can I start workflows?
ClickPost Beta on Konnectify functions purely via actions to execute shipping and logistics processes. To start a workflow, you can trigger off an external e-commerce platform (like Shopify or WooCommerce) or use the Konnectify Scheduler to run logistics checks periodically.
How does ClickPost handle duplicate shipment creations?
ClickPost prevents duplicate shipments by validating unique order references. If you attempt to create a shipment with an order ID that already exists in ClickPost, the system will return an error or point to the existing shipment details, preventing duplicate courier bookings.
What happens if I exceed ClickPost's API rate limits?
If you exceed your allocated rate limits, ClickPost will temporarily reject requests. Konnectify will log these errors in your task history, allowing you to review failed operations and re-run them once your rate limit window resets.
Can I connect multiple ClickPost accounts to Konnectify?
Yes, you can connect multiple ClickPost accounts by authorizing each one with its respective Username and API Key. Each connection can be labeled uniquely in Konnectify, allowing you to route domestic and international shipments through separate profiles.
What is the difference between SPS and MPS order creation in ClickPost?
SPS (Single Package Shipment) creates an order containing only one package. MPS (Multi-Package Shipment) allows you to group multiple parcels under a single master shipping order, each with its own package dimensions and tracking code, ensuring cohesive tracking for complex orders.
