What you can automate with Recharge and Konnectify
- Sync new customer registrations in Recharge directly to your CRM and email lists.
- Automatically update inventory and fulfillment systems when a recurring order is processed.
- Send instant notifications to your support team when a customer's subscription is cancelled.
- Apply promotional discounts or add free gifts to scheduled customer charges dynamically.
- Monitor failed billing attempts and trigger custom dunning or recovery workflows.
- Update external accounting ledgers the moment a recurring charge is successfully paid or refunded.
API & Authentication
Authentication Method: API Token
Recharge uses secure API Token authentication to authorize workflows. You can generate a dedicated API Token within your Recharge Merchant Portal, granting Konnectify the exact permissions required to read and manage subscription data without ever accessing your store's password.
The integration securely connects to Recharge's REST API, enabling automated management of customers, subscriptions, checkouts, plans, and store settings. This allows Konnectify to safely execute actions on behalf of your store based on automated trigger events.
API Scopes and Rate Limits
Ensure your Recharge API token is configured with the correct read/write scopes for the resources (such as subscriptions, charges, or customers) you intend to automate. Rate limits apply based on your Recharge store tier; Konnectify automatically handles standard API pacing to prevent rate limit issues.
For more technical details, refer to the official Recharge Developer Documentation.

FAQ
What authentication method does the Recharge integration use?
▾
The integration uses secure API Token authentication. You generate a dedicated API token within your Recharge Merchant Portal, paste it into Konnectify, and authorize secure read/write access to your store's subscription, customer, and billing data.
Which Recharge plans are supported by this integration?
▾
All Recharge plans that allow API access are fully supported. Please check your Recharge plan details or consult Recharge support to ensure API access and token generation are enabled for your store.
How fast do triggers process subscription updates?
▾
Since Recharge triggers utilize real-time webhooks, updates are sent to your Konnectify workflow instantly. The moment a customer updates their address, pays a charge, or cancels a subscription, the workflow executes without delay.
How does the integration prevent duplicate transactions or actions?
▾
Recharge uses unique IDs for subscriptions, orders, and charges. When building workflows that update records (such as 'Update a Customer' or 'Update a Subscription'), mapping these unique IDs ensures that Recharge updates the exact existing record rather than creating duplicates.
How are Recharge API rate limits managed?
▾
Recharge enforces rate limits based on your store's tier. Konnectify automatically paces request execution to stay within Recharge's API limits, ensuring your subscription workflows run smoothly without interruption.
Can I connect multiple Recharge stores to Konnectify?
▾
Yes. You can authorize multiple Recharge connections in Konnectify by naming each connection uniquely (e.g., 'Recharge US Store' and 'Recharge EU Store') using separate API tokens generated from each store's merchant portal.
How can I automatically add free gifts to a customer's subscription order?
▾
You can use the 'Add a Free Gift' action. When a trigger fires (such as 'Subscription Created' or 'Charge Paid'), Konnectify can programmatically append a free promotional variant ID to the customer's upcoming scheduled charge.
