API & Authentication

Credential-Based Connection

inFlow Inventory uses secure API credentials to authorize connections. To connect, you will need your Web API key and your Company ID, both of which are generated directly from your inFlow Integrations settings. This allows Konnectify to securely read and write data on your behalf without exposing your main account login credentials.

API Key Required Company ID Required

This integration utilizes real-time webhooks to capture system events immediately. This ensures that stock adjustments, order creations, and customer updates are sent to your workflows without any polling delays.

Plan Requirements

API access is available on specific inFlow Inventory plans. Please make sure that your current inFlow subscription includes access to the Web API and integrations settings before attempting to connect.

For more detailed information regarding endpoints, limits, and developer tools, refer to the official inFlow Inventory API Documentation.

How to Connect

Prerequisites before you begin:
  • Admin access to your inFlow Inventory account.
  • An active Konnectify account.
  • Your inFlow Web API Key and Company ID (found in inFlow under Options > Integrations > Web API).
1

Add inFlow Inventory to your Workflow

Log in to Konnectify, navigate to the Workflow Builder, and drag inFlow Inventory into your automation canvas as either a Trigger or Action step.

2

Authorize via your API Credentials

Click "Connect" and enter your inFlow API Key and Company ID into the authorization popup window.

Where to find these: Open the inFlow Web App, navigate to Settings > Integrations, locate the Web API section, and copy both the API Key and Company ID.
3

Configure the Trigger or Action Fields

Select the specific event you want to monitor, or define the exact data fields you want to send to inFlow Inventory (such as customer name, product SKU, or order quantity).

Config Tip: When creating orders, always map a unique identifier (like an email address or external reference number) to prevent duplicate records.
4

Test the Workflow Connection

Click "Test Step" in Konnectify to run a safe, simulated check. This will pull sample data from inFlow to verify that your field mapping and API connections are working correctly.

5

Activate the Workflow

Once the test passes, toggle your workflow to "Active." Konnectify will now run this integration automatically in the background 24/7.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Konnectify connect to inFlow Inventory securely?
inFlow Inventory utilizes a secure credential connection using your Web API Key and Company ID. You do not share your primary login password, and you can revoke the API Key inside your inFlow Integrations settings at any time.
Which inFlow plans support API access?
API integration access is restricted based on your active inFlow Inventory plan. If you are on an older or lower-tier plan, you may need to upgrade your subscription to access the Web API under your account settings.
Are updates from inFlow triggers instant or delayed?
All triggers are built on inFlow's webhook system. This means that as soon as an event occurs (like a product being created or stock being updated), the data is pushed immediately to your active Konnectify workflow.
How does the integration handle duplicate records?
To prevent duplicates, we recommend performing a "Find" action (such as "Find Product" or "Find Customer") before running a create step. This allows you to check if the item or profile already exists and update it instead of creating duplicates.
Are there any API rate limits I should be aware of?
Yes, inFlow Inventory enforces standard API rate limits depending on your plan. High-volume sync workflows should be configured with batching or spacing controls if you are moving thousands of inventory lines simultaneously.
Can I connect more than one inFlow account?
Yes, you can connect multiple inFlow Inventory accounts in Konnectify by naming each connection uniquely during credential setup. This allows you to coordinate workflows between different company entities or store instances.
Can I perform quick order actions (like fulfill or pay) automatically?
Yes. This integration supports inFlow's "Quick" actions, which mirror the button logic in the inFlow UI. For example, triggering "Quick Fulfill Sales Order" will instantly mark order lines as received and adjust physical stock levels in one step.
