API & Authentication

OAuth 2.0 Secure Authorization

Ramp uses secure OAuth 2.0 credentials to authorize Konnectify. This ensures that Konnectify can safely monitor events and perform administrative actions—like managing bills or listing transactions—on your behalf, without ever accessing your primary Ramp password.

Required Credentials: You will need a Client ID and Client Secret, which you can generate inside the Ramp Developer Console.

Developer Console Callback Setup: When registering your application in the Ramp Developer Console, you must add the following Redirect URIs to authorize the integration:
https://app.us.konnectifyapp.co/admin/api/oauth/callback
https://app.us.konnectifyapp.co/ipaas/api/oauth/callback

For complete details on credential scopes and workspace permissions, refer to the official Ramp Developer Documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about setting up and running your Ramp integration.

How does Ramp authorize the connection with Konnectify?
Ramp authorizes connections via OAuth 2.0. You must generate a Client ID and Client Secret in your Ramp Developer Console, and configure the necessary Redirect URIs. Konnectify then completes authorization securely without storing your workspace passwords.
 Are all Ramp plans supported?
Yes, the integration supports standard Ramp accounts. However, you must have Administrator permissions to access the Ramp Developer Console and register the OAuth application required to connect.
Do triggers run on a delay, or are they real-time?
Ramp triggers use instant webhooks. This means that as soon as a bill is approved, a transaction clears, or a spend request is created, Ramp sends a notification to Konnectify to run your workflow immediately.
How does the integration handle duplicate transactions?
Every transaction in Ramp is assigned a unique Transaction ID. When mapping data to other platforms, you can use this ID as a unique identifier to cross-reference records and prevent duplicate entries.
Does the integration process out-of-pocket reimbursements?
Yes. The Reimbursements module contains dedicated triggers and actions to manage out-of-pocket claims, batch payments, and mileage mileage requests independently from card transactions.
Can I connect multiple Ramp workspaces?
Yes, you can authorize multiple Ramp connections inside Konnectify. Each connection represents a separate workspace, allowing you to route workflows to distinct administrative accounts.
How are document attachments processed for bills?
You can use the Upload Bill Attachment action to programmatically send PDF invoices to an existing bill. Alternatively, the OCR action allows you to upload raw documents to automatically generate draft spend requests.
