Snowflake
What is Snowflake?
Snowflake is a cloud-based data platform that enables organizations to store, analyze, and query massive datasets with exceptional speed and scalability. By connecting Snowflake to Konnectify, you can bridge the gap between your core business applications and your centralized data warehouse, automating data pipeline ingestion and syncing operational records in real time.

What you can automate
API & Authentication
Secure OAuth 2.0 Authentication
Snowflake uses a custom OAuth 2.0 authorization flow to establish a secure connection. This ensures Konnectify can securely read, write, and update data within your warehouse without ever seeing or storing your Snowflake password.
To authorize the connection, you must provide your Client ID and Client Secret generated from a custom Snowflake OAuth security integration, along with your Account Identifier, target Warehouse, Database, Schema, and optional Role.
Konnectify requires an active Snowflake virtual warehouse to execute queries and retrieve metadata. Ensure the authorized OAuth role has USAGE permissions on your designated warehouse, database, and schema to prevent connection timeouts or query failures.
For comprehensive details on creating security integrations and managing roles, refer to the official Snowflake Documentation.
How to Connect
- A Snowflake account with permissions to run
CREATE SECURITY INTEGRATION. - Your Snowflake Account Identifier (formatted as
orgname-accountname). - The names of your active Virtual Warehouse, Database, and Schema.
Add Snowflake to a Workflow
- Log in to your Konnectify dashboard and create a new workflow.
- Search for Snowflake in the application library and select it as either a Trigger or Action.
Authorize via OAuth 2.0
- In Snowflake, configure your redirect URI to:
https://app.us.konnectifyapp.co/ipaas/api/oauth/callback. - Enter your generated Client ID and Client Secret into the Konnectify connection window.
- Provide your Account Identifier, Warehouse, Database, and Schema. Click Authorize to log in and approve the connection.
Configure the Trigger or Action
- Select the specific Snowflake table you want to monitor or modify.
- Map the incoming fields from your source application directly to your Snowflake table columns.
Ensure the data types mapped from external applications match your Snowflake column definitions (e.g., VARCHAR, TIMESTAMP, NUMBER) to avoid SQL execution errors.
Test the Workflow
- Click Test inside the workflow builder to run a dry-run execution.
- Verify that data is correctly retrieved from or written to your active Snowflake table.
Activate the Workflow
- Toggle your integration to Active.
- Konnectify will now run your Snowflake automation automatically in the background.
Triggers 2
Triggers monitor your Snowflake tables for changes and instantly pass that data to other applications in your workflow.
Actions 8
Actions allow your workflows to write, update, query, or delete records and tables in Snowflake when events occur in other apps.
Popular Automations

Keep your central data warehouse updated by automatically creating a new row in your contacts table whenever a lead is created in your CRM.

Automatically append payment and invoice data to your financial tables the moment a successful transaction occurs in your payment gateway.
Update Warehouse Records on Deal Changes
Ensure pipeline analytics are accurate by updating the matching deal row in Snowflake when a sales opportunity is closed-won.
